Growing Cybersecurity Concerns

The fresh initiative comes amid increasing worry about Britain's vulnerability to digital service failures and digital assaults.

Recent incidents have highlighted these weaknesses, including a significant disruption affecting global cloud computing and latest online threats that affected operations at significant plants and supply chains across various businesses.

Guidance and Direction

A previous senior officer of the the nation's space operations center will deliver recommendations next month on how the publicly-supported center can optimally help the extent of national AI objectives in defense, national security and intelligence.

The institute's chair, a former Amazon UK boss, confirmed that 78 different research projects at the center employing hundreds have been terminated, transferred out or completed because they fail to match with the revised strategy.
